PSE's IT Application Solutions team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Consulting Records Management Analyst position!

Job Description

Develops, maintains, and administers the records management program. Works with IT, legal, and other departments as necessary, to ensure all business needs and legal, regulatory and system requirements related to records management are met.

Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manages the records and information management program to ensure compliance.
    • Provides subject matter expertise to departments regarding records retention schedules, through research of legal and regulatory requirements for all records, regardless of media used, and works with all levels of users to analyze records management needs and determine appropriate strategies and solutions.
    • Manages the development, awareness and training, through various methods such as education and collaborating with marketing, and helps manage the training of user departments in the policies and procedures of the Record and Information Management program at PSE.
  • Partners with IT on functional and technical assessments as related to records and information management, and evaluates proposed technology solutions to determine feasibility and compliance with industry and organization standards.
  • Provides subject matter expertise as a liaison between IT, the user community or external service providers to identify requirements for document/records management systems and assures all agreements and commitments are met.
  • May serve as lead resource for dealing with highly complex retention issues and confers with superiors on unusual records retention or compliance matters.
  • Facilitates the development and implementation of new records retention processes.
  • Applies advanced knowledge in a primary team and general knowledge in multiple relevant teams to create solutions for highly complex business situations.
  • Operates under limited direction.
  • Mentors peers to acquire fine points of professional practice.
  • May manage up to two direct reports.
  • Resolves highly complex problems, often collaborating with other experts to do so.
  • Formulates related processes and procedures to add value and strengthen business strategies.
    • Manages off-site storage vendor(s) to assure PSE requirements and goals are met in daily operations.
    • Partners with PSE purchasing on off-site storage contracts to minimize costs and obtain excellent service.
    • Manages archival and retrieval of existing physical records, as appropriate.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and/or training.
  • 8 years experience in records or document management, or similar role.
  • Thorough knowledge of and expertise around records management principles and practices, and records and information management technology applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint or Enterprise Content Management Systems (OpenText, FileNet, etc.)
  • Experience with legal research systems for records management.
  • Experience performing project management and/or business analysis work.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to effectively adapt to and apply rapidly changing business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, efficiency and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.

Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Records Manager (CRM), Certified Information Professional (CIP), or Electronic Records Management (ERMx) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a corporate setting or utility/energy company.
  • Experience designing and deploying Microsoft SharePoint or Enterprise Content Management Systems (OpenText, FileNet, etc.)

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
